Saturday Family Resource Day

Here is an opportunity for families to discover resources available to them, specific to their needs.

This bulletin from ACS is something you want to share with your families today, as the fair is tomorrow….

Participate in the  Annual Family Resource Day

We are pleased to invite you to the NYC Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium’s Annual Family Resource Day in the Bronx on Saturday, March 16 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. This year the Bronx Family Resource Day will be held at the Bronx Public Library, 310 East Kingsbridge Road. All Family Resources Days are free-of-charge.

Family Resource Days are sponsored in all five NYC boroughs.  Attached is a flyer on the upcoming Family Resource Days in the other four boroughs.  Hundreds of parents (throughout the Bronx) attend the Day to learn about the various resources in their community, i.e., summer camps, health care programs, nutrition information, etc.  This is a wonderful occasion for you to recruit parents seeking child care services in their neighborhoods. You will be able to introduce your program to parents and offer them the opportunity to visit. If you are interested in participating in the upcoming Family Resource Day in the Bronx, or in one of the other four boroughs, you may register for a table by going online: http:// www.nycchildcareconsortium.org/2013FRDExhibitorRegistration. You may also register by sending an email to Ana Maria Matos, CCR&R Consortium Liaison, at amatos@dccnyinc.org. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call Ms. Matos at 212-206-7818, ext. 119.
