It’s that time of year again.
The start of the school year brings with it new therapy providers and new children into your schools and classrooms.
For the safety of our children, it is vital that we know exactly who is seeing each child, and when they are visiting our sites.
Therefore you want to ensure that you are properly maintaining records of all therapy providers at your site in an organized, clear binder, designated uniquely for this purpose.
The binder should include one section of completed “Provider Information Forms” (See forms and links page on this blog) and another section with daily sign-in sheets (also available on the blog)
Additionally, teachers may require therapists to sign in and out of the classrooms upon arrival in the classroom.
Do You Know Who Sees Your Children?
Parents, Directors, Family Workers, and Teachers, should all be able to answer “Yes!”
